News for the week of April 5th - 11th.
Urban Legends - Sasquatch, Nessie, el Chupacabras, what do these stories have in common with our faith?  Join us on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM for an exploration of urban legends and how they affect our relationship with God.

 Prayer Breakfast - Thursday at 7:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall - The Santillians are providing breakfast this week.

Girls Gathering! - Our retreat for girls is this weekend!  The bus will leave LSCOC parking lot at 4:30 PM this Friday, April 10 and return at 5:00 PM on April 11. 

LTC Awards Sunday will be Sunday, April 19 during the morning worship.  All students will receive their awards and our coaches and participants will be recognized that morning.  Our LTC groups will perform on Sunday night, April 26th at our family devotional in the fellowship hall following the youth led service.  

Middle School Retreat - In The Eye of the Storm - @ Camp Deer Run, May 1-3.  Sign ups are going on now for our MS retreat for students in grades 6-8.  Turn in an application (found on the bulletin board in the north hallway off of the church foyer) before April 12 for the early bird price of $60! 

Remember, our HS girls and our guys meet at 7 PM every Monday night for a time of intense Bible study. Guys meet at the church, girls meet at Emily Helton's home.

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Host for the coming weeks: March 21 - Kirk & Amanda Reams March 28 - Kirk & Amanda Reams (two weeks in a row!) Our next to last LTC Practice will be this Sunday, April 7 from 11:30 - 4 PM in the fellowship hall.  All parents and students need to be in attendance.  We will have one more practice on Sunday, April 14 for drama, puppets and chorus ONLY.  This will be immediately after the Easter Egg Hunt at 2 PM. Our annual LTC Event Preview will be Wednesday night, April 17th from 6:30-7:30 PM in the auditorium.  All members are encouraged to come and see what our young people and LTC coaches have been working on the past 4 months. League Street Church Camp registration begins this Sunday at noon.  Our church camp will be July 14-19 and is for students in grades 3-12 and their families. The first five students who register beginning at noon Sunday, April 7 will win their choice of seat and seat mate on the trip to camp and one cleaning pass to exempt them from cabin clean up at camp!
