The Girls Retreat is this Friday - Saturday, April 15-16.  The bus will leave the church parking lot at 5:30 Friday p.m. and return around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.   Pack list for this trip: Sleeping Bag, pillow, clothes, toiletries, towel, Bible, pen, Money for ONE Meal (Saturday Supper)

Middle School Retreat will be May 13-15.  Applications are available in the youth room or on the bulletin board beside the office.  The Early bird cost for the retreat is $60 due on or before April 27. After this date the cost will be $70. Sign up as soon as possible!

Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every week school is in session at 7:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  Join us for this awesome time of prayer, Bible study and fellowship. The families who are slated to provide breakfast in the coming weeks are:

April 19 - Reams
April 26 - Hernandez
May 3 - Santillian
May 10 - Brewer
May 17 - Bassham / Bramblett
May 24 - Bayuk

Join the League Street Church of Christ for a day at Urban Air in Rockwall!  Mark your calendars for Friday, April 22 (SSISD is not having school that day) and get ready to fly!  Meet at the church parking lot by 2:45 PM.

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Our next to last LTC Practice will be this Sunday, April 7 from 11:30 - 4 PM in the fellowship hall.  All parents and students need to be in attendance.  We will have one more practice on Sunday, April 14 for drama, puppets and chorus ONLY.  This will be immediately after the Easter Egg Hunt at 2 PM. Our annual LTC Event Preview will be Wednesday night, April 17th from 6:30-7:30 PM in the auditorium.  All members are encouraged to come and see what our young people and LTC coaches have been working on the past 4 months. League Street Church Camp registration begins this Sunday at noon.  Our church camp will be July 14-19 and is for students in grades 3-12 and their families. The first five students who register beginning at noon Sunday, April 7 will win their choice of seat and seat mate on the trip to camp and one cleaning pass to exempt them from cabin clean up at camp!
