League Street Church of Christ Youth News

There will be no youth devotional this Sunday, July 30th.  We want to encourage our families to come to the church potluck after worship for lunch and then spend the rest of the evening as a family. Thank you to everyone who made brownies, brought milk, and helped serve during our NETSYS area wide devotional that was held at the building this past Monday (July 24th). It was a huge success getting to fellowship with other youth groups, and eat delicious brownies. There will be an Area Wide Half Lock-In this Friday night at the old Johnson Street CoC building in Greenville, TX.  The interns will leave in the van at 5:30 PM and return at midnight.  Cost is $10 and space is limited. Starting July 27 or 28th the youth rooms will be getting a make-over! If you would like to help tackle this project with our intern Lacon Hudgins, let her know and she will more than happily get you details about time and what it is that will be painted. League Street will be hosting the NETSYS Area Wide Devotional on Monday, July 24 from 7-9 PM.  Every year we serve brownies and milk to 250 area youth.  Would you help provide brownies or milk for this event?  See Brad Sullivan to sign up. All Church Retreat – Sign up in the front lobby of the church for this exciting weekend in Broken Bow, OK August 4-6, Cost: $40. (The cost to stay in a cabin is $20.  The cost for all five meals is $20.) We leave for Camp Meribah at 7 AM Sunday morning and return at 10 PM on Friday, July 14.  There are almost 50 of our church family at Camp Meribah in Centerville, TN this week.   Be praying for our students and adults as they spend the week worshipping God and having a wonderful time in God’s creation.   There will be youth class Sunday morning and Wednesday night as usual. There will be no youth devotional this Sunday, July 9 th .   Our next youth devotional will be July 16 from 6-8 PM in the fellowship hall.   Guys bring drinks, girls bring desserts.   Taco Tuesday – July 18 the League Street Youth are going to Splash Kingdom!   Cost for the event is free.   Students can bring money for refreshments.   Bus leaves @ 1 PM and returns at 6 PM.   League Street will be hosting the NETSYS Are Wide Devotional on Monday, July 24.   Every year we serve brownies and milk to 250 area youth.   Would you help provide brownies or milk for this event?   See Brad Sullivan to sign up.
