There will be a parent / student meeting this Sunday morning, August 28 during Bible class in the Red Youth Room.  Join us for a preview of the upcoming year and learn how your family can participate in this ministry. Student Led Worship will be Sunday night @ 5:00 PM.  Please have your children to church by 4:45 PM. Our next devotional will be this Sunday, August 28 from 6-8 PM in the fellowship hall. Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast will start September 13 at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at the church. Beaver's Bend Canoeing Trip - October 15, 2016.  Enjoy a day on the river with grades 6-12 and their families.  Sign up on the youth bulletin board by the church office. The All Church Retreat is this weekend at Beaver Bend State Park in Oklahoma!  A van will leave the church parking lot at 1:15 PM Friday afternoon and return Sunday at 12:30 PM.  Packing lists and direction to Group Camp 1 at the state park can be found on the youth Facebook page or in the front lobby of the church. There will be no devotional this Sunday night for the League Street Youth Ministry.  Our next devotional will be August 28 from 6-8 PM. Sign up now for the All Church Retreat, August 19-21 in Beavers Bend, OK.  The cost is only $40 for a weekend of fun, fellowship, worship and food.  Last day to sign up is this Sunday, August 14.  Space is limited so turn in your forms or sign up in the church lobby today! Be sure to encourage Brianna Isham who is part of the cast for the community theatre production of Godspell, that is playing this weekend at the youth building at Shannon Oaks.  Showtimes are Friday and Saturday @ 2 & 7 PM and Sunday at 2 PM. There will be no devotional this Sunday night for the League Street Youth Ministry.  Our next devotional will be August 28 from 6-8 PM. This Wednesday night will be our Back to School Bash.  Invite all families, students, and teachers to join us for pizza from 6-6:30 PM in the fellowship hall and for a special school year worship dedication from 6:30 - 7:30 PM in the auditorium. Splash Kingdom!  League Street Youth will go to Splash Kingdom tomorrow night (Wednesday, August 3) for a night of worship, water slides and fellowship.  The cost per person to get into the water park is only $10!  We leave church at 4:30 and will return at 9:30 PM.  Pack a sack supper to eat there. Sunday night at League Street: Join us for worship at 5 PM with special speaker, Houston Smith!  Following evening worship we will have our last devotional of the summer with our beloved interns.  Devotional will end at 8 PM.  Guys bring 2 liter drinks, girls bring chips. Our last NETSYS Area Wide Devotional of the summer will be August 8 at Daingerfield CoC.  We will leave at 5:45 PM. Eat supper before you come.
