League Street Church of Christ Youth News

We leave for Camp Meribah at 7 AM on Saturday, July 2.  We will return late Thursday night, July 7.  There are currently 33 of us from League Street Church attending.  Please pray for our group as we travel to and from camp. The next Youth Devotional will be Sunday night, July 10, from 6-8 PM .   Guys bring drinks and / or chips, girls bring desserts. Our NETSYS Area Wide Devotional was a huge success!  Thank you to all of you who donated brownies, milk and time to this event.  Our next NETSYS Devotional will be July 11 @ Commerce. Tuesday Night Bible Study starts back July 12th at the church from 6:30-8:30 PM. Vacation Bible School will be July 24-27 The Youth Bible classes will meet the week of camp.  Sunday morning class will be taught by John Portwood, Wednesday evening class will be taught by Kirk Reams. Fort Worth Mission Trip returns Thursday, June 23 at 6 PM. There will be a youth class at 6:30 PM on Wednesday night, taught by Jeremy Offutt. VBS Planning Meeting!  There will be a planning meeting immediately following church on Sunday, June 26th.  All volunteers interested in helping with VBS should make plans to be there or contact Brad Sullivan if you are unable to attend.  Vacation Bible School will be July 24-27 Youth Led Worship is this Sunday night at 5 PM.  Join us for an evening of worship and scripture and a report on the Fortress Mission Trip. The next Youth Devotional will be Sunday night, June 26, from 6-8 PM .  We will be swimming at Courtney Singleton's parents home.  Guys bring drinks and / or chips, girls bring desserts. We are hosting the NETSYS Area Wide Devotional on Monday, June 27th from 7-8:30 PM.  The entire church is encouraged to come.  Volunteers may help by donating gallons of milk, preparing a pan of brownies, or serving refreshments to our

Fort Worth Mission Trip leaves this Sunday, June 19 at 3 PM and returns Thursday, June 23 at 6 PM. Because of the mission trip this week there will be no Sunday night activity, Monday night NETSYS Devotional, or Tuesday Night Bible Study.  There will be class at 6:30 PM on Wednesday night. League Street will be hosting the NETSYS Area Wide Devotional on Monday, June 27th from 7-8:30 PM.  The entire church is encouraged to come.  Volunteers may help by donating gallons of milk, preparing a pan of brownies, or serving refreshments to our guests that night. Tuesday Night Bible Study starts tonight! Students in grades 6-12 are invited to join our interns, Houston and Kylie for an in-depth Bible study on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:30 PM at the church building.  Students should be dropped off and picked up at fellowship hall in back of church Applications are due this Sunday for our summer camp for grades 3-12 and their families.  The camp is held Saturday - Thursday July 2-7 at Camp Meribah in scenic Centerville, TN.  The cost for camp is $120 per camper, if you are paying for more than one camper take $10 off per student.  Also, scholarships are available.  Pick up an application at the bulletin board or from the youth room. Youth Movie Night!  Sunday night from 6-8 PM in the fellowship hall.  Bring $5 for snacks / drinks. North-East Texas Summer Youth Series is an area wide devotional that meets on Monday nights throughout the summer.  Monday, June 13th we will be headed to NETSYS in Mt. Pleasant, TX at North Ridge Church of Christ.
