Fall Fling and Terror Trails - October 5.  Join us for the Fall Fling at the Reed's home from 2-5 PM. After the Fling is over we will travel from the Reed's to Yantis to brave Terror Trails! Bring $10 for the trail, the Fall Fling is free. The bus will leave the church at 1:30 for the Fall Fling. Our next Prayer Breakfast will be at 7 AM on Monday, October 7 at Chick-Fil-A. We will meet every first Monday of the month whenever school is in session. Youth and Family Devotional will be Sunday, October 20.  All parents and school age children are invited.  We will go to Paris to play Putt-Putt and roller skate and worship. Our friends from North Ridge in Mt Pleasant will be joining us.  Bring $10 a person for all the roller skating and putt-putt you can do (if you don't have $10 it will be provided).  Buses will leave at 1:00 PM and return by 5:00 PM to the church building. Our next youth event will be this Sunday, September 15.  We will go bowling and play laser tag before having a devotional and supper at church from 2-6 PM. Our friends from North Ridge in Mt Pleasant will be joining us.  Bring $10 for one round of bowling and two sessions of laser tag (if you don't have $10 it will be provided).  Drop off and pick up at the church building. Join the League Street Youth for a lake devotional with our friends from Northridge CoC in Mt. Pleasant this Sunday, August 11 from 2-6 PM. We will depart the church parking lot at 2 and meet at the Skillman's home on Cypress Springs Lake to swim, worship and eat.  All students will wear lifejackets while swimming in the river. We will recognize and pray for all school workers and students on that Sunday and have a hot dog lunch / inflatable slide / get to know you time for our new Children's Minister, Cain Langhoff. Wednesday, July 31 will be the last day for summer intern Hunter Wiederstein. Please take a chance this week to share your appreciation for the service he has given to our church family and youth this summer. Our next Youth Devotional, Christmas in July, will be this Sunday, July 28 from 2-5 PM in the fellowship hall. The bus for Camp Meribah leaves at 7 AM Sunday. Please be praying for the students and adults on this camp trip.  All guardians will need to fill out a medical sheet before their child can depart for camp.  See the check in stations before you say goodbye to your child. Make sure your student has money for lunch on their person when they get on the bus. The bus will return by 10 PM (hopefully sooner!) on Friday night.  See packing list below for more information. This Sunday is Youth Devotional at the square, be sure to meet up at 6 pm at the splash pad to join in on the fun and bring money for ice cream! Be sure to be picked up at 8 PM. NETSYS will start this Monday in Mt. Pleasant, the bus will be leaving League Street at 6 pm to head out. Join us to hang out with the other youths and have some home-made ice cream! Senior Sunday will be this Sunday. Join us as we recognize and pray for our high school graduates and their families. All Church Retreat starts a week from this Saturday, May 25-27.  Join us at Beavers Bend State Park Group Camp 1 for worship, hiking, swimming and more! Pick up a schedule from the foyer. Service Sunday - This Sunday, Feb. 3 all young people and adults are invited to a time of service to others.  Meet after church in the fellowship hall. We will eat lunch at Pizza Inn and then spend a couple of hours raking leaves and helping others.  Bring $6-8 for lunch. Youth Small Groups begin meeting this Wednesday night.  We will gather for worship in the large youth room and go into our groups after worship.  Special thanks to our small group leaders: Kevin Brewer, Amanda Reams, Courtney Singleton, Larry Wardrup, and Tag Williams.  These adults give their time and attention to our young people every week.  Praise God for mission minded adults like these who invest in our young people! Our Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast will not meet during Christmas break.  We will start again January 15, 2019 with the Offutt family hosting. Winterfest will be January 18-20.  This is a youth rally in Arlington, TX for our High School students and Middle School students who have a chaperone attend with them.  This will be a weekend of worship, Bible study and service.  Please be praying for all adults and students who will attend.
