League Street Church of Christ Youth News

Help us welcome our new summer youth interns - Walter Moody and Lacon Hudgins.  Walter is a student at Harding University and Lacon has been attending Union University in Jackson, TN.  Their first day with us will be Wednesday, May 31st.  Show them a warm League Street welcome! Camp Deer Run Day Camp - The bus will leave League Street for CDR at 7 AM this Monday - Thursday and return at 4 PM.  Please make sure your camper has a medical release form filled out before you leave them at the church.  Camp Deer Run suggests campers wear T-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes.  Lunch: Bring a sack lunch each day except Thursday. Lunches are not refrigerated. Drinks will be provided each day at camp. Pack a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen. Promotion Sunday - This Sunday, June 4 our fifth grade class will promote to the youth ministry. Sunday Night Dynamite! - This Sunday 6-8 PM  Guys bring Fritos (corn chips), girls bring a dessert. Fort Worth Mission Trip - Be praying for our team as they prepare for our mission campaign to inner city Fort Worth  June 25-29 .   Church Camp! All students in grades 3-12 are invited to sign up for our church camp in lovely Centerville, TN, July 9-14.  Cost is $120 per person (multiple camper pricing available) and the early bird deadline has been pushed back to June 11th. Service Opportunity - Need service hours for school or LTC next year?  All youth and parents are invited to help serve supper at church this Wednesday night.  Be at church at 4:30 PM to prepare the meal and serve.  Those who cannot show up early can still help at clean up time after supper is served at 5:30 PM.   Youth Fun Day - All students and families are invited to join us on Sunday, May 21.  We will eat lunch at Pizza Inn at noon, after lunch we will clean up our adopted highway.  After the roadside is clean we will head to the bowling alley for Laser Tag!  The event will be from 12-4 PM and each student will need $20 for lunch and games.
