Help us welcome our new summer youth interns - Walter Moody and Lacon Hudgins.  Walter is a student at Harding University and Lacon has been attending Union University in Jackson, TN.  Their first day with us will be Wednesday, May 31st.  Show them a warm League Street welcome!

Camp Deer Run Day Camp - The bus will leave League Street for CDR at 7 AM this Monday - Thursday and return at 4 PM.  Please make sure your camper has a medical release form filled out before you leave them at the church.  Camp Deer Run suggests campers wear T-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes.  Lunch: Bring a sack lunch each day except Thursday. Lunches are not refrigerated. Drinks will be provided each day at camp. Pack a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen.

Promotion Sunday - This Sunday, June 4 our fifth grade class will promote to the youth ministry.

Sunday Night Dynamite! - This Sunday 6-8 PM  Guys bring Fritos (corn chips), girls bring a dessert.
Taco Tuesday - 10AM -12 PM  Ready for some fun? Join Lacon and Walter for an adventure.  This week the theme is Sports Day.  Lace up your sneakers and join us for a morning of football, kickball, soccer, and more!

Lake Day - Ready for a day at Cypress Lake?  6-12 graders and families are invited to join us June 10th from 4-8 PM for an afternoon of lake fun.  Supper will be provided.

Fort Worth Mission Trip - Be praying for our team as they prepare for our mission campaign to inner city Fort Worth June 25-29.

Church Camp! All students in grades 3-12 are invited to sign up for our church camp in lovely Centerville, TN, July 9-14.  Cost is $120 per person (multiple camper pricing available) and the early bird deadline has been pushed back to June 11th.

We have a Children's Church for ages 3 - Pre-K on Sunday mornings following our Children's Offering in room 103.  Workers will be:

July 2 - Kimberly Williams

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Our next to last LTC Practice will be this Sunday, April 7 from 11:30 - 4 PM in the fellowship hall.  All parents and students need to be in attendance.  We will have one more practice on Sunday, April 14 for drama, puppets and chorus ONLY.  This will be immediately after the Easter Egg Hunt at 2 PM. Our annual LTC Event Preview will be Wednesday night, April 17th from 6:30-7:30 PM in the auditorium.  All members are encouraged to come and see what our young people and LTC coaches have been working on the past 4 months. League Street Church Camp registration begins this Sunday at noon.  Our church camp will be July 14-19 and is for students in grades 3-12 and their families.
