We need adults who are willing to help chaperone our Middle School Spring Retreat at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX from May 13-15. If you are interested in this exciting opportunity please contact Brad!
Middle School Retreat will be May 13-15. Applications are available in the youth room or on the bulletin board beside the office. The Early bird cost for the retreat is $60 due on or before April 27. After this date the cost will be $70. Sign ups will end very soon.
Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every week school is in session at 7:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Join us for this awesome time of prayer, Bible study and fellowship. The families who are slated to provide breakfast in the coming weeks are:
April 19 - Reams
April 26 - Hernandez
May 3 - Santillian
May 10 - Brewer
May 17 - Bassham / Bramblett
May 24 - Bayuk
Join the League Street Church of Christ for a day at Urban Air in Rockwall! Mark your calendars for Friday, April 22 (SSISD is not having school that day) and get ready to fly! Meet at the church parking lot by 2:45 PM. Every student will need $20 for the event as well as money for supper. We will return around 8 PM.
If your child wishes to go you must sign the online waiver. Go to www.urbanairtrampolinepark.com and click Sign Waiver at the top of the page. Select Rockwall and check agree. Select how many minors and enter their information and click "Agree to this document."
The next youth devotional will be this Sunday, April 24, from 6-8 PM. Guys bring drinks, girls bring desserts.
We had an excellent weekend at the DFW Girls Gathering! Our young ladies had a blast being encouraged and growing closer to God and each other. Special thanks to Jeremy Offutt, April Offutt, Roxanne Swafford and Leah Brown for serving as chaperones and drivers for this exciting event.
