LTC Performance Night was a huge success!  Thank you to all our participants, coaches, and parents who made the night so special.

Guys / Girls Bible Study - Remember, our HS girls and our guys meet at 7 PM every Monday night for a time of intense Bible study. Guys meet at the church, girls meet at Emily Helton's home.

Urban Legends - Join us on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM for an exploration of urban legends and how they affect our relationship with God.

Prayer Breakfast - Thursday at 7:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall - The Swafford family is providing breakfast this week.

Drive - The Youth Ministry is in a series on Sunday morning focusing on God’s mission for the world and our place in it.  There will be family devotional sheets available every week that build off of the Sunday lesson.  These lessons will be available in both paper format and on this blog.  Take advantage of these family devotional times with your child(ren.)

Middle School Retreat - In The Eye of the Storm - @ Camp Deer Run, May 1-3. The applications are in and we are ready for the eye of the storm!  We meet this Friday @ 4:30 PM at the building.  We will return by noon on Sunday morning.  Be sure to bring money for supper Friday night (think Pizza Inn.) 

Exciting News for Eddie Melo!  Eddie announced to the youth on Sunday that he has accepted a job at the North Ridge CoC in Mt. Pleasant as their new youth minister.   He will be with us for a few more days and we will gather on Sunday night, May 10 from 6-8 PM for a devotional and going away party for him.  

Senior Sunday Night will be Sunday, May 17.  Join us at our evening worship and after as we honor our graduating HS Seniors: Coen Price, Rayli Price, Kaylan Griffin and Lindsey Froneberger.

Summer Events - Applications for our summer mission trip to Fort Worth (June 14-18, grades 6-12) and Camp Meribah (our summer camp for grades 3-12, July 4-9) are available on the bulletin board in the north lobby hallway and on our Facebook page.  Space is limited so sign up soon!

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Host for the coming weeks: March 21 - Kirk & Amanda Reams March 28 - Kirk & Amanda Reams (two weeks in a row!) Our next to last LTC Practice will be this Sunday, April 7 from 11:30 - 4 PM in the fellowship hall.  All parents and students need to be in attendance.  We will have one more practice on Sunday, April 14 for drama, puppets and chorus ONLY.  This will be immediately after the Easter Egg Hunt at 2 PM. Our annual LTC Event Preview will be Wednesday night, April 17th from 6:30-7:30 PM in the auditorium.  All members are encouraged to come and see what our young people and LTC coaches have been working on the past 4 months. League Street Church Camp registration begins this Sunday at noon.  Our church camp will be July 14-19 and is for students in grades 3-12 and their families. The first five students who register beginning at noon Sunday, April 7 will win their choice of seat and seat mate on the trip to camp and one cleaning pass to exempt them from cabin clean up at camp!
