Wednesday, July 31 will be the last day for summer intern Hunter Wiederstein. Please take a chance this week to share your appreciation for the service he has given to our church family and youth this summer.

Our next Youth Devotional, Christmas in July, will be this Sunday, July 28 from 2-5 PM in the fellowship hall. All students should bring a $5 white elephant gift, wear pajamas if they want, and a Christmas themed snack if they wish.

NETSYS Devotional - the next NETSYS devo we will attend is Monday, July 29 in Rockwall.  The bus will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return by 9 PM.  Bring $ for a stop at Buc-ee's on the way.

Join the League Street Youth for a lake devotional with our friends from Northridge CoC in Mt. Pleasant on August 11. We will meet at the Skillman's home on Cypress Springs Lake to swim, worship and eat.  All students will wear lifejackets while swimming in the river.

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Host for the coming weeks: March 21 - Kirk & Amanda Reams March 28 - Kirk & Amanda Reams (two weeks in a row!) There will be no youth devotional this Sunday, July 23rd.  We encourage our families to take time Sunday afternoon / evening to make a pan of brownies for our Area Wide Devotional Monday night. League Street will be hosting the NETSYS Area Wide Devotional on Monday, July 24 from 7-9 PM.  Every year we serve brownies and milk to 250 area youth.  Would you help provide brownies or milk for this event?  See Brad Sullivan to sign up. All Church Retreat – Sign up in the front lobby of the church for this exciting weekend in Broken Bow, OK August 4-6, Cost: $40. (The cost to stay in a cabin is $20.  The cost for all five meals is $20.)
