Help us thank Noah Merritt and Lacon Hudgins for their service to our church this summer.  Noah's last day as an intern is Sunday, August 5.  Lacon's last day as an intern will be Wednesday, August 8.  We are excited to see what God has in store for their future!

The LSCOC Youth and Children's Ministry (3rd grade and up only) are going to Splash Kingdom tonight from 4 - 9:30 PM for swimming, fun and a devotional.  Bring $10 for admission and a sack supper / money for concessions.  There will be classes available at church for younger children and the youth who cannot go will meet in the auditorium tonight.

Our All Church Retreat at Group Camp 1 in Beavers Bend State Park is this Friday - Sunday.  See the bottom of this post for schedule and packing information.

Our last NETSYS Area Wide Devotional of the summer will be Monday, August 6 at Daingerfield Church of Christ in Daingerfield, TX.  Meet at the building at 5:45 PM we will return by 9:30 PM.  Eat supper before you come.

Our next youth and family devotional will be August 12 at the home of LJ Skillman on Lake Cypress Springs.  Join us for an afternoon of swimming, splashing, hot dogs and a devotional on the lake shore.  All youth group members and families are invited as well as families with younger children who come accompanied by a responsible adult.  Be sure to pack your life jackets, floaties, towels, and sun screen! The bus leaves the church at 2 PM and returns at 7 PM.
