There will be no devotional at League Street Church of Christ this Sunday night, July 29 since we will be having our 5th Sunday Potluck immediately following Sunday morning worship.
Our next NETSYS Area Wide Devotional will be Monday, July 30 at East Ridge in Rockwall, TX. Meet at the building at 6 PM we will return by 9:30 PM. Eat supper before you come.
The League Street Youth Ministry is partnering with our Iglesia de Cristo to reach out to the Lakeview Mobile Home Park this summer. A large part of our outreach has been Lakeview Kids Club, a VBS type of event with the children of that community in their neighborhood. Our last kids club of the summer will be Tuesday, July 31, from 8:30 AM - Noon. Be sure to wear cool clothes, bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
The League Street Youth and Children's Ministry is going to Splash Kingdom in Greenville next Wednesday night, August 1! Bring $10 for admission and money for supper OR a sack meal (coolers will be provided.) We will leave the church at 4:15 PM and return by 9:30 PM. All students in grade 3-12 and their families are invited. (Younger children are invited to attend with their parents / guardians.)

All Church Retreat 2018 Packing List
• Cost: $40 (covers 5 meals and cabin in camp)
• Cost for meals only is $20 if you have arranged other housing.
• Date: August 3-5
• Bus leaves the building at 2 pm on Friday.
• Returning Sunday by 4 p.m.
• Staying in Group Camp One at Beavers Bend State Park.
Packing list:
1. Things to cover your body (shirts, pants, socks, underwear, etc.)
2. Two towels: one for lake and another for bathing
3. Toiletries (things to keep your hygiene bearable, please!!!)
4. Tennis shoes (these shoes were made for walking)
5. Bug spray and sunscreen
6. Sleeping bag or twin sheets
7. Swimming attire/ water shoes/ floaty apparatus
8. Water bottle
9. Flashlight
10. Bible
11. Sports equipment
12. Whatever else you will think you need for a three-day outdoor excursion
13. Don’t forget your great attitude (no one likes a negative Nancy)
What not to bring:
1. Bad attitudes
2. Weapons
3. Illegal or recreational drugs (i.e. tobacco products, alcohol, etc.)
