Our next NETSYS Area Wide Devotional will be Monday, July 23 at League Street. We will be hosting as many as 200 area youth and adults for an evening of fun, worship and Bible study. The congregation is invited to attend. Thank you to all of you who will make donations of milk and brownies (home made or store bought) for refreshments after the event. Sign up lists for volunteers are in the adult Bible classes. Milk and brownies can be dropped off at the church office / fellowship hall beginning Sunday.
The League Street Youth Ministry is partnering with our Iglesia de Cristo to reach out to the Lakeview Mobile Home Park this summer. A large part of our outreach will be Lakeview Kids Club, a VBS type of event with the children of that community in their neighborhood. Our next kids club will be Tuesday, July 24, from 8:30 AM - Noon. Be sure to wear cool clothes, bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
Instead of a devotional Sunday night, July 22 the League Street Youth Ministry will be going to see our church members in Mary Poppins at the Hopkins County Civic Center this Sunday. Meet at church at 1:30 PM and bring $12 (if you have it) for admission. We will return to the building by 4:30 PM.
