Sunday Night Dynamite! - Our Sunday night devotional this week will be at the home of April & Jeremy Offutt.  The bus will leave the church at 5:45 and return at 8:15 PM.  Guys bring drinks, girls bring desserts.  Jeremy Offutt will be driving the bus.

Area Wide Devotional - Our next Summer Youth Series is Monday, June 19 in Greenville at the Creekside Church of Christ (formerly Johnson St.).  We will leave the parking lot at 6 PM and return by 9:30 PM.  Everyone should eat supper before we leave. Tag Williams will be driving the bus.

Fort Worth Mission Trip - Packing lists and parental release forms are out now for our mission campaign to inner city Fort Worth June 25-29.

Church Camp! We have over 50 students and adults attending our church camp in lovely Centerville, TN, July 9-14.  Thanks to this caring congregation we have had 8 full scholarships donated by members.  We are still in need of 6 more scholarships for families in need.  A full scholarship is $100, a half scholarship is $50.  Donations can be made in the church office.

Our VBS Super Saturday will be June 24.  There will be a work day Thursday, June 22 10 AM - 2 PM.

We have a Children's Church for ages 3 - Pre-K on Sunday mornings following our Children's Offering in room 103.  Workers will be:

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Our next to last LTC Practice will be this Sunday, April 7 from 11:30 - 4 PM in the fellowship hall.  All parents and students need to be in attendance.  We will have one more practice on Sunday, April 14 for drama, puppets and chorus ONLY.  This will be immediately after the Easter Egg Hunt at 2 PM. Our annual LTC Event Preview will be Wednesday night, April 17th from 6:30-7:30 PM in the auditorium.  All members are encouraged to come and see what our young people and LTC coaches have been working on the past 4 months. League Street Church Camp registration begins this Sunday at noon.  Our church camp will be July 14-19 and is for students in grades 3-12 and their families. The first five students who register beginning at noon Sunday, April 7 will win their choice of seat and seat mate on the trip to camp and one cleaning pass to exempt them from cabin clean up at camp!
