Sunday, December 11 will be our first LTC meeting (for parents and students) as well as a children's ministry update.  All parents and guardians of children in the youth and children's ministry should make plans to meet immediately following church.  Lunch will be provided.

Leadership Training for Christ - Sign ups for LTC have been moved to the youth bulletin board by the library.  Please double check to make sure your name is on the appropriate lists. All students in grades 3-12 are invited to be a part of this service and ministry event.

Six Flags Holiday in the Park trip will be December 29.  Bus departs at 1 PM and is back at 10:30 PM.  Tickets are $37 a person (does not include cost of supper) Sign up on the youth bulletin board.

Winterfest is a youth rally in Arlington, TX that happens January 13-15.  All students in grades 9-12 are invited and students in grades 6-8 will be allowed with a responsible adult.  Registration is now $120.

Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Hosts for coming weeks are:
December 6 - Swafford
December 13 - Hernandez

Our last youth devotional of 2016 will be Sunday night, December 11 from 6-8 PM in the fellowship hall.  Thanks to the Swafford family for providing supper for that event!

We have a Children's Church for ages 3 - Pre-K on Sunday mornings following our Children's Offering  in room 103.  Workers will be:

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. There will be no youth devotional this Sunday, July 23rd.  We encourage our families to take time Sunday afternoon / evening to make a pan of brownies for our Area Wide Devotional Monday night. League Street will be hosting the NETSYS Area Wide Devotional on Monday, July 24 from 7-9 PM.  Every year we serve brownies and milk to 250 area youth.  Would you help provide brownies or milk for this event?  See Brad Sullivan to sign up. All Church Retreat – Sign up in the front lobby of the church for this exciting weekend in Broken Bow, OK August 4-6, Cost: $40. (The cost to stay in a cabin is $20.  The cost for all five meals is $20.)
