Winterfest applications are due by this Sunday, November 20.  Winterfest is a youth rally in Arlington, TX that happens January 13-15.  All students in grades 9-12 are invited and students in grades 6-8 will be allowed with a responsible adult.  The early bird price for Winterfest is $95.  All registration turned in after November 20 will cost $120.

Into the Woods - The youth ministry will be going to see Brianna Isham and others in this high school musical Sunday.  We will meet at church at 1:30 PM.  Bring $10 for your ticket.

Leadership Training for Christ - Sign ups for LTC have been moved to the youth bulletin board by the library.  Please double check to make sure your name is on the appropriate lists, the old sign up sheets have disappeared. All students in grades 3-12 are invited to be a part of this service and ministry event.

Thanksgiving Break - There will be no Prayer Breakfast, Wednesday night meal, or Wednesday class the week of Thanksgiving.  There will be a church wide singing devotional on Tuesday, November 22 at 6:30 PM.

Sunday, December 11 will be our first LTC meeting (for parents and students) as well as a children's ministry update.  All parents and guardians of children in the youth and children's ministry should make plans to meet immediately following church.  Lunch will be provided.

Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Hosts for coming weeks are:

We have a Children's Church for ages 3 - Pre-K on Sunday mornings following our Children's Offering  in room 103.  Workers will be:

December 18 - LaVon Savage

Six Flags Holiday in the Park trip will be December 29.  Bus departs at 1 PM and is back at 10:30 PM.  Tickets are $37 a person (does not include cost of supper) Mark your calendar!

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Our next to last LTC Practice will be this Sunday, April 7 from 11:30 - 4 PM in the fellowship hall.  All parents and students need to be in attendance.  We will have one more practice on Sunday, April 14 for drama, puppets and chorus ONLY.  This will be immediately after the Easter Egg Hunt at 2 PM. Our annual LTC Event Preview will be Wednesday night, April 17th from 6:30-7:30 PM in the auditorium.  All members are encouraged to come and see what our young people and LTC coaches have been working on the past 4 months. League Street Church Camp registration begins this Sunday at noon.  Our church camp will be July 14-19 and is for students in grades 3-12 and their families.
