Service Sunday - This Sunday, Feb. 3 all young people and adults are invited to a time of service to others.  Meet after church in the fellowship hall. We will eat lunch at Pizza Inn and then spend a couple of hours raking leaves and helping others.  Bring $6-8 for lunch.

Youth Small Groups begin meeting this Wednesday night.  We will gather for worship in the large youth room and go into our groups after worship.  Special thanks to our small group leaders: Kevin Brewer, Amanda Reams, Courtney Singleton, Larry Wardrup, and Tag Williams.  These adults give their time and attention to our young people every week.  Praise God for mission minded adults like these who invest in our young people!

Important Update: Our Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast is moving to a new format.  We will meet monthly on the first Tuesday of every month for Prayer Breakfast at area restaurants or in the fellowship hall.  Our next prayer breakfast will be this Tuesday, February 5, 7:00 AM at Whataburger (117 Shannon Rd). Students should bring money for breakfast.

Our next LTC Practice will be Sunday, February 10 from 11:30 AM-4 PM in the fellowship hall. All parents and students need to be in attendance.

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Host for the coming weeks: March 21 - Kirk & Amanda Reams March 28 - Kirk & Amanda Reams (two weeks in a row!) Our next to last LTC Practice will be this Sunday, April 7 from 11:30 - 4 PM in the fellowship hall.  All parents and students need to be in attendance.  We will have one more practice on Sunday, April 14 for drama, puppets and chorus ONLY.  This will be immediately after the Easter Egg Hunt at 2 PM. Our annual LTC Event Preview will be Wednesday night, April 17th from 6:30-7:30 PM in the auditorium.  All members are encouraged to come and see what our young people and LTC coaches have been working on the past 4 months. League Street Church Camp registration begins this Sunday at noon.  Our church camp will be July 14-19 and is for students in grades 3-12 and their families. The first five students who register beginning at noon Sunday, April 7 will win their choice of seat and seat mate on the trip to camp and one cleaning pass to exempt them from cabin clean up at camp!
