Service Sunday will be September 30th from 12-3 PM as we eat lunch together and pick up trash at our Adopt-A-Highway site on Highway 11 just past the city limits.  We will leave immediately after morning service and return to church when we are done.  Bring $6-10 for lunch, wear jeans and bring gloves for this fun service day!

Prayer Breakfast is our weekly time together to start our Tuesdays with prayer and scripture.  We meet at 7 AM in the Fellowship Hall when school is in session. Our breakfast Sept. 18 will be provided by the Reams family.  The 25th will be hosted by the Anderson family. 

Our next devotional will be hosted by the Back family on Sunday, September 23.  More details to come!

High School Retreat will be November 18-19 at Camp Deer Run.  We are being joined this year by the Landmark CoC (Kaufman) and the Winnsboro CoC youth ministries. 

Winterfest will be January 18-20.  This is a youth rally in Arlington TX for our high school students and middle school students who have a chaperone attend with them.  Save the date for this exciting weekend.

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. The League Street Youth Ministry leaves for church camp this coming Sunday morning at 7 AM.  Be sure your camper has money for 2 fast food meals (one on the way down and one on the way home) and that their money is not packed in their luggage (it will be inaccessible on the road.)  For more packing information see the youth ministry Facebook page.  We will return Friday night by 10 PM. Our next NETSYS Area Wide Devotional will be Monday, July 23 at League Street.  We will be hosting as many as 200 area youth and adults for an evening of fun, worship and Bible study.  The congregation is invited to attend.  We will also need donations of milk and brownies (home made or store bought) for refreshments after the event.  Sign up lists for volunteers will be in the adult Bible classes. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Host for the coming weeks: March 21 - Kirk & Amanda Reams March 28 - Kirk & Amanda Reams (two weeks in a row!)
