Be sure to join us for Vacation Bible School this coming Sunday at 4-6 PM and Monday - Wednesday from 9-11 AM.  All student volunteers should show up for VBS at least 30 minutes before it begins.

Our first Sunday Funday of the summer ( a time to play, worship and study the Bible together) will be Sunday night June 17 from 6-8 PM.  If you have them bring hammocks, frisbees and clothes you can wear comfortably outside.  There will be no food served at this event.

Our next devotional will be the NETSYS area wide devotional in Mt. Pleasant at the NorthRidge Church of Christ on June 18.  The bus will leave at 6 PM, eat supper before we leave. 

The League Street Youth Ministry is partnering with our Iglesia de Cristo to reach out to the Lakeview Mobile Home Park this summer.  A large part of our outreach will be Lakeview Kids Club, a VBS type of event with the children of that community in their neighborhood.  Because of VBS next week we will meet next on Tuesday, June 19 from 8 AM - Noon.  Be sure to wear cool clothes, bring a water bottle and sunscreen.

Our Fort Worth Mission team will leave Sunday, June 24 @ 3 PM.  Be praying for these workers and their outreach to the children and families of Fort Worth.

League Street’s summer camp will be July 8-13 and is open to all students in the 3rd - 12th grades.  Cost will be $120 / camper if registration is complete by June 6, 2018.

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. The League Street Youth Ministry leaves for church camp this coming Sunday morning at 7 AM.  Be sure your camper has money for 2 fast food meals (one on the way down and one on the way home) and that their money is not packed in their luggage (it will be inaccessible on the road.)  For more packing information see the youth ministry Facebook page.  We will return Friday night by 10 PM. Our next NETSYS Area Wide Devotional will be Monday, July 23 at League Street.  We will be hosting as many as 200 area youth and adults for an evening of fun, worship and Bible study.  The congregation is invited to attend.  We will also need donations of milk and brownies (home made or store bought) for refreshments after the event.  Sign up lists for volunteers will be in the adult Bible classes. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Host for the coming weeks: March 21 - Kirk & Amanda Reams March 28 - Kirk & Amanda Reams (two weeks in a row!)
