Our next Youth Devotional, LTC practice and Youth Led Worship will be Sunday, February 26th.

Leadership Training for Christ -   Our LTC team will be in need of snack food and canned drink donations for our annual trip to the LTC Convention.  See Angelica Hernandez, Kirk Reams or Brad Sullivan to donate.

Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Hosts for coming weeks are:

February 14 - Tommy & Lyndsay Anderson
February 21 - Steve & Roxanne Swafford
February 28 - Hilda Santillian

Middle School Retreat at Camp Deer Run is March 24-26 and registration for the full weekend is only $50! Students and volunteers can pick up an application on the back wall of the fellowship hall.

DFW Girls Gathering, our yearly event for girls in grades 6-12 and their moms will be April 1.  Registration cost is $30 and you can pick up an application on the back wall of the fellowship hall.

Camp Deer Run - There will be a church bus taking day campers (age 5-8) to Deer Run during the first Pee Wee session June 5-8.   Register as a Pee Wee Church Group (password is church) and register under League Street at www.campdeerrun.com.

We have a Children's Church for ages 3 - Pre-K on Sunday mornings following our Children's Offering  in room 103.  Workers will be:

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every week school is in session at 7:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.   Join us for this awesome time of prayer, Bible study and fellowship. The families who are slated to provide breakfast in the coming weeks are: January 26 - Brewer February 2 - Bassham February 9 - Bayuk February 16 - Swafford February 23 - Reams Our next LTC Practice will be Sunday, February 14.   Join us immediately after church for lunch and practice. Practice will run from 12-4 PM. The next Youth Devotional will be Sunday night, February 14 from 6-8 PM. Guys bring drinks, girls bring desserts. This Sunday there will be an adult / student combined class discussing the youth ministry dates and events of the coming year.  Make plans to join us in the youth room from 9:30-10:15 on that Sunday morning. Our first Prayer Breakfast of the year will be at 7 AM on Monday, September 9 at Chick-Fil-A. After that we will meet on the first Monday of the month whenever school is in session. Watch this space for location. Our next youth event will be Sunday, September 15.  We will go bowling and play laser tag from 2-5 PM. Bring $10 (if you have it, if not join us anyway).
