Brand New Bus! - Thank you to everyone who has donated and made possible the purchase of the new 29 passenger bus.  Lord willing, it will be retrieved this Friday from the dealership in Waco, TX.

Leadership Training for Christ - This Sunday, December 11 will be our first LTC meeting (for parents and students) as well as a children's ministry meeting.  All parents and guardians of children in the youth and children's ministry should make plans to meet immediately following church.  Lunch will be provided. Sign ups for LTC are on the youth bulletin board by the library.  All students in grades 3-12 are invited to be a part of this service and ministry event.

Ugly Sweater Devo - Our last youth devotional of 2016 will be Sunday night, December 11 from 6-8 PM in the fellowship hall.  Every student should bring a $5 white elephant gift and wear an ugly Christmas sweater (if they have one.)  Thanks to the Swafford family for providing supper for that event!

Wednesday night, December 14th the youth group will be singing and taking gifts to Wesley House.  All students need to be at church by 6:25 p.m. to participate.  Students who show up after 6:25 will go to class with parents/ adults.

Six Flags Holiday in the Park trip will be December 29.  Bus departs at 1 PM and is back at 10:30 PM.  Tickets are $37 a person (does not include cost of supper) Sign up on the youth bulletin board.

Winterfest is a youth rally in Arlington, TX that happens January 13-15.  All students in grades 9-12 are invited and students in grades 6-8 will be allowed with a responsible adult.  Registration is now closed.

Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Hosts for coming weeks are:

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next to last LTC Practice will be this Sunday, April 7 from 11:30 - 4 PM in the fellowship hall.  All parents and students need to be in attendance.  We will have one more practice on Sunday, April 14 for drama, puppets and chorus ONLY.  This will be immediately after the Easter Egg Hunt at 2 PM. Our annual LTC Event Preview will be Wednesday night, April 17th from 6:30-7:30 PM in the auditorium.  All members are encouraged to come and see what our young people and LTC coaches have been working on the past 4 months. League Street Church Camp registration begins this Sunday at noon.  Our church camp will be July 14-19 and is for students in grades 3-12 and their families. The first five students who register beginning at noon Sunday, April 7 will win their choice of seat and seat mate on the trip to camp and one cleaning pass to exempt them from cabin clean up at camp!
