Walk 4 Water - The League Street Youth Ministry is participating in Walk 4 Water this Saturday, September 24 in Mineola, TX.  We leave the church building at 7:30 AM Saturday morning and will return by 2:30 PM.  Walk 4 Water is a ministry of Healing Hands International, a Church of Christ aid organization that provides water wells to impoverished communities all over the world.  Ask a member of the youth group how you can help sponsor them at Walk 4 Water this year.

Youth Led Worship is this Sunday night at 5 PM.  Young men should be at church by 4:45 to prepare for worship.

Devotional this Sunday night following the Youth Led Worship.  We will be at Tommy & Gwen Panter's home from 6-8 PM.  Join us for devotional, games, s'mores and more!  Bus will leave church at 5:50 PM and return at 8:15 PM.

Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Hosts for coming weeks are:

Beaver's Bend Canoeing Trip - October 15, 2016.  Enjoy a day on the river with grades 6-12 and their families.  Sign up on the youth bulletin board by the church office.

We have a Children's Church for ages 3 - Pre-K on Sunday mornings during the sermon time.  in room 103.  See Brad if you are interested in volunteering for this fun new ministry.

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. There will be no youth devotional this Sunday, July 23rd.  We encourage our families to take time Sunday afternoon / evening to make a pan of brownies for our Area Wide Devotional Monday night. League Street will be hosting the NETSYS Area Wide Devotional on Monday, July 24 from 7-9 PM.  Every year we serve brownies and milk to 250 area youth.  Would you help provide brownies or milk for this event?  See Brad Sullivan to sign up. All Church Retreat – Sign up in the front lobby of the church for this exciting weekend in Broken Bow, OK August 4-6, Cost: $40. (The cost to stay in a cabin is $20.  The cost for all five meals is $20.)
