Splash Kingdom!  League Street Youth will go to Splash Kingdom tomorrow night (Wednesday, August 3) for a night of worship, water slides and fellowship.  The cost per person to get into the water park is only $10!  We leave church at 4:30 and will return at 9:30 PM.  Pack a sack supper to eat there.

Sunday night at League Street: Join us for worship at 5 PM with special speaker, Houston Smith!  Following evening worship we will have our last devotional of the summer with our beloved interns.  Devotional will end at 8 PM.  Guys bring 2 liter drinks, girls bring chips.

Our last NETSYS Area Wide Devotional of the summer will be August 8 at Daingerfield CoC.  We will leave at 5:45 PM. Eat supper before you come.

Sign up now for the All Church Retreat, August 19-21 in Beavers Bend, OK.  The cost is only $40 for a weekend of fun, fellowship, worship and food.  Last day to sign up is August 14.  Space is limited so turn in your forms or sign up in the church lobby today!

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Host for the coming weeks: March 21 - Kirk & Amanda Reams March 28 - Kirk & Amanda Reams (two weeks in a row!) Our next to last LTC Practice will be this Sunday, April 7 from 11:30 - 4 PM in the fellowship hall.  All parents and students need to be in attendance.  We will have one more practice on Sunday, April 14 for drama, puppets and chorus ONLY.  This will be immediately after the Easter Egg Hunt at 2 PM. Our annual LTC Event Preview will be Wednesday night, April 17th from 6:30-7:30 PM in the auditorium.  All members are encouraged to come and see what our young people and LTC coaches have been working on the past 4 months. League Street Church Camp registration begins this Sunday at noon.  Our church camp will be July 14-19 and is for students in grades 3-12 and their families. The first five students who register beginning at noon Sunday, April 7 will win their choice of seat and seat mate on the trip to camp and one cleaning pass to exempt them from cabin clean up at camp!
