We have a busy schedule coming up for the League Street Church Youth Group!

Tonight (Wednesday) we have our weekly Wednesday night Bible Class at 6:30 PM.  The doors to the fellowship hall will open at 6:00 PM for those who want to play before church starts.

Tomorrow, Thursday, July 14 is the second annual NETSYS Kickball Tournament in Mt. Pleasant, TX.  We will leave the church at 9 AM sharp and return around 2 pm.  Be sure to bring a bottle of water, money for lunch, and clothes you can play in!

Movie Night this Sunday night from 6-8 PM.  Bring your favorite movie snack and/or drink and invite a friend!

There is no NETSYS Devotional scheduled for next week.  Our next area wide devotional will be Monday, August 1 at Rockwall & Brin Church in Terrell, TX.

Tuesday Night Bible Study will be July 19th at the church from 6:30-8:30 PM.

Vacation Bible School will be July 24-27 from 6-8 PM.

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Host for the coming weeks: March 21 - Kirk & Amanda Reams March 28 - Kirk & Amanda Reams (two weeks in a row!) There will be no youth devotional this Sunday, July 23rd.  We encourage our families to take time Sunday afternoon / evening to make a pan of brownies for our Area Wide Devotional Monday night. League Street will be hosting the NETSYS Area Wide Devotional on Monday, July 24 from 7-9 PM.  Every year we serve brownies and milk to 250 area youth.  Would you help provide brownies or milk for this event?  See Brad Sullivan to sign up. All Church Retreat – Sign up in the front lobby of the church for this exciting weekend in Broken Bow, OK August 4-6, Cost: $40. (The cost to stay in a cabin is $20.  The cost for all five meals is $20.)
