Our summer interns will be joining us June 1st for ten weeks.  Be praying for Houston Smith and Kylie Driscoll as they travel to Sulphur Springs.  Kylie will be with us beginning Sunday, May 29.  Houston will be with us on Wednesday, June 1.  Let's give them a warm League Street welcome!

Kylie and Tracy Stewart are inviting all girls in grades 6-12 to a Memorial Day celebration of "Flag, Fun & Friends!" at Tracy Stewart's home (401A South Locust St.) beginning at 3:30 Monday afternoon.  Supper will be provided.

Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens one more time this school year at 7:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  Join us for this awesome time of prayer, Bible study and fellowship. The family who is slated to provide breakfast for our last time together on May 31st is the Swafford's!

Applications are due this Sunday for our summer mission trip to Fort Worth, TX on June 19-23.  Our mission team works with underprivileged children and families in the heart of Fort Worth at the Fortress Youth Development Center.  This trip is open to all adults and students in grades 6-12.  The cost for the mission trip will be $120.  Applications can be picked up at the Youth Ministry Bulletin Board.

Applications are available for our summer camp for grades 3-12 and their families.  The camp is held Saturday - Thursday July 2-7 at Camp Meribah in scenic Centerville, TN.  The cost for camp is $120 per camper, there will be multiple attendee pricing and scholarships available.  Pick up an application at the bulletin board or from the youth room.

Vacation Bible School will be July 24-27.  Adult volunteers are needed to lead and serve with crafts, snacks, teaching, and other areas.  See Brad Sullivan to volunteer!

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Our next to last LTC Practice will be this Sunday, April 7 from 11:30 - 4 PM in the fellowship hall.  All parents and students need to be in attendance.  We will have one more practice on Sunday, April 14 for drama, puppets and chorus ONLY.  This will be immediately after the Easter Egg Hunt at 2 PM. Our annual LTC Event Preview will be Wednesday night, April 17th from 6:30-7:30 PM in the auditorium.  All members are encouraged to come and see what our young people and LTC coaches have been working on the past 4 months. League Street Church Camp registration begins this Sunday at noon.  Our church camp will be July 14-19 and is for students in grades 3-12 and their families.
