This blog is intended to help communicate to you what the youth ministry at League Street Church of Christ in Sulphur Springs, TX has planned.  This blog will be updated weekly and will be advertised through email and our Facebook group.  You may come to this blog at any time to get information on upcoming events for the youth ministry.

News for the week of March 29th

Prayer Breakfast - Thursday, April 2 at 7:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall - The Offutts are providing breakfast this week.

LTC is Friday - Sunday, April 3-5!  We will be staying at the Hilton Anatole in downtown Dallas. For those who need a ride, Eddie will be driving a van that leaves from the church at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 3rd.  For more information contact Tena Wilkes at lscoc@hotmail.com .

Girls Gathering! - This yearly girls retreat is hosted at a Church of Christ in the metroplex.  This year the GG will be April 10-11 at the Duncanville Church of Christ.  League Street is sending a group of ladies to this awesome event this year.  The bus will leave LSCOC parking lot at 4:30 PM on Friday, April 10 and return at 5:00 PM on April 11.

Middle School Retreat - In The Eye of the Storm - @ Camp Deer Run, May 1-3.  Sign ups are going on now for our MS retreat for students in grades 6-8.  Turn in an application (found on the bulletin board in the north hallway off of the church foyer) before April 12 for the early bird price of $60!

Remember, our HS girls and our guys meet at 7 PM every Monday night for a time of intense Bible study.  Guys meet at the church, girls meet at Emily Helton's home.

News For August 7th, 2015

There will be a youth devotional this Sunday from 6-8 PM.  Bring $5 for supper, and a pair of work gloves (if you have some.)   Our last NETSYS devotional will be Monday night in Daingerfield.  We need at least one parent to serve as a chaperone for this fun time together.  We will leave the church at 5:15 PM and return at 9:30 PM.   Join us for Failure to Launch, a new series on Wednesday nights about how we grow deeper in our walk with Christ.  6:30-7:30 PM.  With the end of summer comes the end of our summer interns time to work full time with the youth. The League Street Youth Ministry leaves for church camp this coming Sunday morning at 7 AM.  Be sure your camper has money for 2 fast food meals (one on the way down and one on the way home) and that their money is not packed in their luggage (it will be inaccessible on the road.)  For more packing information see the youth ministry Facebook page.  We will return Friday night by 10 PM. Our next NETSYS Area Wide Devotional will be Monday, July 23 at League Street.  We will be hosting as many as 200 area youth and adults for an evening of fun, worship and Bible study.  The congregation is invited to attend.  We will also need donations of milk and brownies (home made or store bought) for refreshments after the event.  Sign up lists for volunteers will be in the adult Bible classes. March 15, 2017

Our next Youth Devotional will be this Sunday, March 19th from 6-8 PM. The Middle School Retreat will be at Camp Deer Run in Winnsboro, TX Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th. Our next LTC practice will be Sunday, March 26th from 12-4 PM. Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Host for the coming weeks: March 21 - Kirk & Amanda Reams March 28 - Kirk & Amanda Reams (two weeks in a row!)
