Join us this week for our Sunday Night Devotional at the home of Michael & Kimberly Williams from 4-6 PM.  The bus will leave the church at 3:45 and return by 6:15 PM.

Tuesday Morning Prayer Breakfast happens every Tuesday school is in session at 7:00 AM in the fellowship hall at church.  Hosts for coming weeks are:

  • November 29 - Tag & Jena Williams
We have a Children's Church for ages 3 - Pre-K on Sunday mornings following our Children's Offering  in room 103.  Workers will be:

  • November 27 - Kimberly Williams
  • December 4 - Jena Williams
  • December 11 - Brad Sullivan
Winterfest applications are on the youth bulletin board and applications and $50 are due by November 20.  Winterfest is a youth rally in Arlington, TX that happens January 13-15.  All students in grades 9-12 are invited and students in grades 6-8 will be allowed with a responsible adult.  The early bird price for Winterfest is $95.  All registration turned in after November 20 will cost $120.

Leadership Training for Christ - Sign up now for LTC in the fellowship hall.  All students in grades 3-12 are invited to be a part of this service and ministry event.

Six Flags Holiday in the Park trip will be December 29.  Bus departs at 1 PM and is back at 10:30 PM.  Tickets are $37 a person (does not include cost of supper) Mark your calendar!

The church has started a Flickr page to share photos on.  If you want to see what's been happening or have any pictures of church events please share them with us at https://flic.kr/g/sUzX3 .  You will be asked to create a Flickr account and upload your photos to your account before sharing them with the group.  This is a free service.  Thank you for helping us share all the wonderful things that are going on at League Street Church.

Our next Family Devotional will be Saturday, October 24th from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Singleton’s home.  All ages are encouraged to join us for a bonfire and hayride devotional.  The bus will leave from the church building at 5:30 p.m.  Guys bring drinks and ladies bring a dessert to this exciting night. Watch the Facebook page and phones for information regarding cancellation due to bad weather. Youth Led Worship will be Sunday night from 5-6 PM.  Young men leading worship should be at church by 4:45 PM.   Trunk-Or-Treat Time!  Join us on Saturday, October 31 for a time of sharing and caring with our church and friends from the community.  Dress up in your favorite costume and / or decorate your car so you can hand out candy with us.  Candy can be donated to the church office at any time between now and then. Service Sunday will be September 30th from 12-3 PM as we eat lunch together and pick up trash at our Adopt-A-Highway site on Highway 11 just past the city limits.  We will leave immediately after morning service and return to church when we are done.  Bring $6-10 for lunch, wear jeans and bring gloves for this fun service day! Prayer Breakfast is our weekly time together to start our Tuesdays with prayer and scripture.  We meet at 7 AM in the Fellowship Hall when school is in session. Our breakfast Sept. 18 will be provided by the Reams family.  The 25th will be hosted by the Anderson family.  Our next devotional will be hosted by the Back family on Sunday, September 23.  More details to come! Are you ready for Waffle Mania? Our Youth Devotional will be this Sunday night, October 11, from 6-8 p.m.   Waffle Mania is an intentional outreach to friends and neighbors who do not know Christ.   Brad needs 2-3 adults to help with food prep for this time of worship, bible study and fun.   Contact Brad by phone or email, or at church Sunday morning!
