LTC Performance Night was a huge success!  Thank you to all our participants, coaches, and parents who made the night so special.

Guys / Girls Bible Study - Remember, our HS girls and our guys meet at 7 PM every Monday night for a time of intense Bible study. Guys meet at the church, girls meet at Emily Helton's home.

Urban Legends - Join us on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM for an exploration of urban legends and how they affect our relationship with God.

Prayer Breakfast - Thursday at 7:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall - The Swafford family is providing breakfast this week.

Drive - The Youth Ministry is in a series on Sunday morning focusing on God’s mission for the world and our place in it.  There will be family devotional sheets available every week that build off of the Sunday lesson.  These lessons will be available in both paper format and on this blog.  Take advantage of these family devotional times with your child(ren.)

Middle School Retreat - In The Eye of the Storm - @ Camp Deer Run, May 1-3. The applications are in and we are ready for the eye of the storm!  We meet this Friday @ 4:30 PM at the building.  We will return by noon on Sunday morning.  Be sure to bring money for supper Friday night (think Pizza Inn.) 

Exciting News for Eddie Melo!  Eddie announced to the youth on Sunday that he has accepted a job at the North Ridge CoC in Mt. Pleasant as their new youth minister.   He will be with us for a few more days and we will gather on Sunday night, May 10 from 6-8 PM for a devotional and going away party for him.  

Senior Sunday Night will be Sunday, May 17.  Join us at our evening worship and after as we honor our graduating HS Seniors: Coen Price, Rayli Price, Kaylan Griffin and Lindsey Froneberger.

Summer Events - Applications for our summer mission trip to Fort Worth (June 14-18, grades 6-12) and Camp Meribah (our summer camp for grades 3-12, July 4-9) are available on the bulletin board in the north lobby hallway and on our Facebook page.  Space is limited so sign up soon!

Our next Family Devotional will be Saturday, October 24th from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Singleton’s home.  All ages are encouraged to join us for a bonfire and hayride devotional.  The bus will leave from the church building at 5:30 p.m.  Guys bring drinks and ladies bring a dessert to this exciting night. Watch the Facebook page and phones for information regarding cancellation due to bad weather. Youth Led Worship will be Sunday night from 5-6 PM.  Young men leading worship should be at church by 4:45 PM.   Trunk-Or-Treat Time!  Join us on Saturday, October 31 for a time of sharing and caring with our church and friends from the community.  Dress up in your favorite costume and / or decorate your car so you can hand out candy with us.  Candy can be donated to the church office at any time between now and then. Service Sunday will be September 30th from 12-3 PM as we eat lunch together and pick up trash at our Adopt-A-Highway site on Highway 11 just past the city limits.  We will leave immediately after morning service and return to church when we are done.  Bring $6-10 for lunch, wear jeans and bring gloves for this fun service day! Prayer Breakfast is our weekly time together to start our Tuesdays with prayer and scripture.  We meet at 7 AM in the Fellowship Hall when school is in session. Our breakfast Sept. 18 will be provided by the Reams family.  The 25th will be hosted by the Anderson family.  Our next devotional will be hosted by the Back family on Sunday, September 23.  More details to come! Are you ready for Waffle Mania? Our Youth Devotional will be this Sunday night, October 11, from 6-8 p.m.   Waffle Mania is an intentional outreach to friends and neighbors who do not know Christ.   Brad needs 2-3 adults to help with food prep for this time of worship, bible study and fun.   Contact Brad by phone or email, or at church Sunday morning! Guys Bible Study (hosted by David Westberry) for all guys in MS and HS meets at the church every Monday from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. High School Girls Bible Study meets on Mondays from 7:00 – 8:30 at Emily Helton’s home.
